Rise Of The Monster Slayer

Aren was born with nothing. No family, no talent and no future. In a world where monsters rule the wilderness and strength determines worth, he survives as a gravekeeper in the slums, burying the forgotten dead while enduring the scorn of the living. When a hunting expedition leaves him behind as bait for a monstrous Shadow Wolf, Aren expects to die. Instead, he awakens an ancient power, a power that allows him to absorb the abilities of monsters and evolve beyond human limits. With every Beast Core he devours, he inherits fragments of forbidden memories. Memories that reveal a terrifying truth. That monsters are not humanity's greatest enemy. As darkness spreads across the world and ancient secrets awaken, Aren must rise from a ridiculed nobody to humanity's last hope. To save the world, he must become the very thing everyone fears. The Monster Slayer.
